Be known for what you know

Our expertise

Communication for experts by experts

We work with the best

We help organisations and their leaders be known for what they know in order to boost their reputation, build relationships and influence others. Our approach is particularly well-suited to businesses and non-profits that address societal challenges such as health, educational and environmental issues.

You and Us

Unless you're the only player in your field then you'll probably struggle to differentiate on your product (or service) alone. That's where having a reputation based on your distinct expertise or professional approach can make the world of difference. You’re the experts but do the right people appreciate and act upon it?

If you think you could be doing more to turn your know-how and expert team to your advantage that's where we can help.

At Think Communications we act as an extension of your team. We believe that details are important and we immerse ourselves in your way of working and the issues of relevance to you. Whether we're working on your communication strategy or rolling up our sleeves to create content, we are passionate and tenacious in delivering results for you.

We are full of ideas that employ the full range of communications, engagement and marketing techniques, with a particular emphasis on media and stakeholder relations. We want you to judge us on the exposure, engagement and action our work delivers.

FOUNDER

Julie Kangisser

Julie is a communications industry all-rounder with two decades of experience. She specialises in issues-based communications for the education, health and charity sectors. She entered communications consultancy at Fishburn Hedges (the leading corporate communications agency of its day) following a first career as a broadcast journalist for BBC News. Before setting up Think Communications she held senior in-house marketing and communications roles for complex organisations undergoing change.

She brings this broad range of perspectives to her current role. She leads all client activity and works with like-minded specialists.

“When working with clients my aim is to identify a 'red thread idea' that runs through everything they do. Although my career has been varied, my 'red thread' has been creating powerful communications that make issues and information interesting - whether producing the news of the day for national TV, editing thought-leading content for a business audience or orchestrating media launches.”

Julie has a degree in Law & Geography from the University of Cambridge and a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from City University, London.
